On my wife's '15 C-Max when they get dirty they go off sometimes. This was the same sensor that i tested and did not detect me. Originally we took it into a Ford shop so they could do a diagnostic on it.
The sensor is directly where the wind is coming from. I noticed that when it was working it was on warm days. The common Ford diff bushes problem started with these cars and the hand brake mechanism is just stupid. The report said that the left backup, and possibly the PAM, was bad. However if anyone else can comment that has had this issue it would be great. Rcv'd VIN 24 Jan 19, in production 3/22, awaiting shipment 3/24, In transit 4/4........ It is just refusing to work correctly because it is too COLD!!!! totally confused now. been under the passenger seat and all is dry just the front bleeped bleeping, oh and the dashboard switch doesn't flash that seams to be working as normal. The front parking sensors also only work at low speeds.
Many problems with reverse parking sensors are not caused by defective parts or a malfunctioning system. Moving forward, commonly known for transmission faults. With retrofitted everything except another slidey door! I decided to test on a day that was working by turning the car on (not start it) and applying the park break. Reference Library -Galaxy parking sensor faults. Saw online, a McDonald’s bag stuck in the bumper could cause this. Doesn’t stop. Well thats good news but I suspect it'll be back! I am wondering if there is more to the story here.
First the issue was intermittent so there were times when it was working properly. VCDS HEX/CAN - Scans/Coding done in Wiltshire in exchange for winegums! I have been having issues with the parking sensors on my 2015 Escape Titanium 1.6l with the 301a technology package.
